Jordan Mills is a former homebrewer turned commercial brewer who is doing exactly what he wants these days. After a stint with Mill Street Brewing and realizing that his creative goals were never going to be met under another brand name, he did what many homebrewers dream of and co-founded Rouge River Brewing Company in Markham. The creative freedom Rouge River has afforded him has remained the motivating factor for him, and LCBO be damned!
One look at their taproom offerings tells the whole story.. an eclectic mix of IPA's APA's, lots of sours, and a 2018 RIS called Never Say Never. Nothing boring to be found in this brewery!
If you love local beer, and especially sours, who better to spend a couple of hours with than Jordan? Our invitation to him actually goes back to last fall, but we were unable to find a date that worked for both of us, so we were thrilled when he agreed to look at his calendar again.
