Orange Peel, 1oz
Two types of dried orange peel are generally used for homebrewing.
Sweet Orange Peel: these have an impact like the flavor of Grand Marnier. Great for that added depth in Belgians, strong ales, and special holiday beer.
Bitter Orange Peel: Dried bitter orange peel gives a citrusy, herbal aroma commonly used in Belgian Witbier, Grand Crus and other light-colored styles. Use a larger amount for a noticeable orange flavor/aroma, or a smaller amount for a more delicate suggestion. Works well with classic European hops as well, or in English summer ale.
